Red Admiral on the Shoreburs Greenway, Southampton. Is this my final sighting of the year?
Red Admiral high up on a holly tree, seen this morning while walking along the Shoreburs Greenway, Southampton. Temperature was only reading 10C but certainly a bit warmer in sunny, sheltered spots. [Posted by Nic Burns]

Andy Barker gift. I was unable to attend the AGM this year, but was delighted to meet up with Andy Barker today, where I presented him with a gift on behalf of the main committee and branch in recognition of his time as chair.
